Our Clients Say It Best...

George Mikitarian, CEO, Parrish Medical Center, said, “The impact of this method is that it unites the organization—from the physician to the food service worker—by creating a common language, on common ground with common goals...These commonalities then become the DNA of the organization.”   We at The Bedside Trust call this “DNA” device our Cultural Operating System. Our curative approach gives rise to a problem solving culture that raises performance, builds trust, and directly increases operational efficiency.

Where Does Patient Safety Begin? Relational Answers to Operational Problems
Brian Wong, MD, CEO, The Bedside Trust

Patient care improves when people work well together.

This begins with an engaged staff that knows how their roles impact their jobs. Clarity of role affects everyone's ability to interact, and best serve the patient's needs. Optimal care is delivered by those who understand that working effectively together cures their organization's problems and decreases the burden of overwhelming initiatives. Putting this practice into place creates the foundational component needed to improve patient care. Defining "role clarity" aligns individual missions with the organization's mission.

Together, we'll use our Operational Work-up™ to:

We’ll begin this process together by:

  • Analyze and determine our foremost patient care challenges.
  • Uncover what our current state costs our patients.
  • Learning how to determine the root cause of our safety challenges and the concept of "Community Intelligence," as an organizational solution.
  • Supplying the clarity and wherewithal to distinguish between symptomatic safety issues and foundational problems...and securing the understanding and experience to develop curative countermeasures.
  • Identifying the structure needed to ensure countermeasure effectiveness.

Going through this exercise will help you identify and remove unneeded complexities to solve safety problems at the core level. You'll discover our Cultural Operating System (COS), a group problem solving foundation rooted in Community Intelligence and designed to ensure the highest standards of safety throughout your organization. It gives you the wherewithal to design the right conditions needed to find relational answers to operational problems.

This interactive demonstration will leave you with applicable knowledge to bring back and implement in your community. Our sessions go a step further by providing you with a web/phone based follow-up forum to help ensure implementation.
